What happens during a Reiki Treatment?
The client, fully clothed, lies on a treatment table. The practitioner’s hands remain in a stationary position gently, on or slightly above the body through several positions from head to toe. There is no manipulation of skin. Reiki is not massage.

The experience of a Reiki treatment
A Reiki treatment generates a sense of comfort, calm and peace. Some recipients feel a warm tingling sensation where hands are placed. Others feel soft waves of subtle pulsations flowing through their bodies, and others feel nothing in particular except they are very relaxed and in touch with themselves.

Extended health claim forms now available:
There are insurance companies within Canada who offer Reiki as a paid benefit in their Extended Health Care package. Please check with your health Benefit Provider to see if Reiki is covered.

How many sessions do I need?
Based on feedback from my clients, people usually report feeling better from the first session, but more may be needed to strengthen and stabilize results. If one is dealing with a health concern it is generally recommended to have four treatments close together, as each treatment builds on the last.
